Galloping Goat - Pleiades

Pleiades is board/card game set in space. It is a sandbox exploration game. Each episode is an open world. It may have an objective but it is always optional. Players are the captain of their own ship. Together, with other players, you have a fleet. Choose your ship and crew then begin exploring planetary systems. You will face challenges, quests, and even pick up the odd job now and again. Each episode is new solar system. The episodes can be played multiple times. As your ship and crew survive, you will grow wealthy, powerful, and wise with each time you play.

EPISODE 1-24: MINING AND PIRATES ( Prototype at V5)

You have carefully finished building your ship and assembling your small crew. The other captains have done the same. Now the fleet is headed to a small, distant, double-star system with one lush, civilized planet. Rumors say the planet is growing wealthy from the abundant mines on a moon orbiting a gas giant.

Upon arrival at the system and just as you exit out of hyperspace, the ships are hit by an intense solar flare. As you scan for electronic signals, the lush planet lights up with activity. There are clear indicators of something happening on the lone moon of the gas giant. In the darkness of space twinkle signs of ships and something unexpected. It takes a few minutes but at last you detect a space station.

Of course it is likely armed pirates and other opportunists have heard the rumors of easy money as well. The large star is highly active - riddled with immense flares, sun spots, and coronal mass ejections.

Where will you go and for how long? The Rocky Barren moon, the Lush Terrestrial green planet, or this unexpected Space Station?

Will you take your riches and run or help if called upon?

EPISODE 2-24: THE EDDES WAR: ESPIONAGE IN WAR (Prototype at V2)

On to the Eddes System, a system at war. The two inner planets that orbit a red giant and have been at war for over a generation. While the populations in general support the war, neither can afford it so active conflict is infrequent. Further out from the inner planets lies an asteroid belt likely packed in minerals and more. Well beyond the asteroid belt at the edge of interstellar space lies a large well-established and very wealthy space station called the Emerald Station.

You are hired by authorities from a nearby system that is being flooded by refugees and rumors. They need information. As you discretely infiltrate, all is not as it seems. Will stay out of the mess or will your conscience eventually get the best of you?

EPISODE 1-25: Whispers of a Dark Star (In-Development)

There is likely nothing alive here but you have been paid well to explore this black frozen system: a black dwarf star, an ice planet, some odd space anomaly, and the normal challenges of space travel. Cluster authorities have restricted the system but there is no enforcement. No one is stupid enough to visit.
